As we reopened in September, 2020, we took the safety of our students and parents very seriously. We disinfect all high-contact surfaces, eliminate all communal art supply bins, and reduce the class sizes to allow each child plenty of personal space.
We screen upon entering and design the classes for the "new normal."
Special awareness, especially for the youngest students, to follow protocol, but never put the stress and worry on the children.
All parents and students 5 years and above must wear face coverings; no exceptions. Everyone receives a temperature check upon arrival, and we immediately wash our hands.
Through social distancing and adjusting some of our group activities, we still enjoy a no-contact learning environment.
Our art studio believes that education and peer interaction is essential. Although art classes are a supplement to the core curriculum children need, we recognize that our in-person small classes play an even more important role as most children are learning virtually right now. We may have on masks, and we may be further apart, but we make a mess, share a laugh, and feed off of one another's creative energy.
Do you know any children who would love in-person art classes? Gift Cards allow them to enroll now or for future sessions. Support small businesses and purchase a gift card throughout the year.
For the second time, Art Time for Kids is honored to be voted Best Art Class in Fredericksburg by FredParent! Thank-you to all who voted.
