Music Time for Kids!

Our weekly, 45-minute long, classes will allow us all to enjoy the power of group music-making. Children ages 0-5 attend with a parent or caregiver, who provides the music-making model by singing and moving under the teacher's direction (no talent or expertise required!) We will incorporate traditional childrens' music, classical favorites, and original Harmony Kids songs. Children learn through play with singing, dancing, and musical games, and enjoy the use of basic shakers, resonator bells, sticks, scarves, parachutes, drums, and more! They have no idea that they are actually learning the basics of music: singing in tune and moving to a beat! Our goal is for these skills to create a life-long love of music, a strong bond with their parents and caregivers, and a foundation for private music or dance lessons should they choose to pursue them.
